Plot
The film is set in the city of Vizag, where CI Raghu Nayak is seen pointing a gun at Vasu and Head-constable Pattapagalu Venkatrao on the beach. When Vasu goes back in time, he discovers that he was a topper in his early years. Meesala Simhachalam, his grandfather, is a rabble-rouser who mediates disputes for the benefit of the populace.
Bairagi Naidu is enraged by this and wants to seize control of Vizag. Because of this, Bairagi makes a lot of land settlements, which greatly enrages Simhachalam. However, Bairagi is unable to intervene because his power exceeds Simachalam’s. Naidu then suggests Simhachalam, which causes his grandson to become irrational because his son perished in an automobile accident. Vasu is irritated by this, but he puts up with it for his grandfather.
It is said that he has grown raucous and prepared to settle disputes like his grandfather after years of training. He develops feelings for Sahitya, a software worker and Venkatrao’s daughter. Venkatrao comes from a middle-class family, and he is unable to pay for his daughter’s marriage and his son’s further education. They soon find out that someone is going to buy his land for two crores.
However, Bairagi Naidu is the one occupying this land. Next, Venkatrao questions Naidu about his land; however, he only receives $50,000, and Nanda, Bairagi Naidu’s son, keeps the torture. Vasu tries to assist Sahitya’s family because he is aware of their difficulties. The family of Venkatrao and Vasu assisted in capturing Bairagi and robbing him of his money.
Unfortunately, Bairagi catches them while they’re doing this, but someone shoots Bairagi to death. Using their advantage, they quickly flee after stealing the money from Bairagi, leaving behind some proof. The command of the officials is joining CI Raghu Nayak, who was suspended for his careless actions. Simhachalam, meanwhile, is upset to discover that Bairagi Naidu is not killed by Vasu.
Vasu and Venkatrao’s family learn that Raghu Nayak is the son of Bairagi Naidu’s second wife—a secret that no one is aware of. While Venkatrao tries to tamper with the evidence at the forensic lab, Nayak discovers that Vasu killed his father and apprehends him; Venkatrao was involved in the murder as well. Nanda blackmails Vasu after discovering Venkatrao’s family.
As Venkatrao and Vasu are about to be shot in the present, Vasu manages to get away from Nayak and informs him that Nanda killed his father. Venkatrao, Vasu, and Nayak travel to Nanda, where Vasu saves Venkatrao’s family. Raghu Nayak shoots Nanda dead, but he continues to believe that Nanda killed his father even though Vasu actually killed Naidu and covered it up.
Vasu is even aware that Bairagi Naidu is the one who caused the accident, not his father. Vasu is asked why he isn’t accepting responsibility for the murder when his truth eventually comes to light in front of his family. He talks about how he didn’t want to be raucous and how he got rid of Bairagi because he was a danger to the community. Vasu’s grandfather grants him permission to live his life as he pleases after realizing his foolish ways. As the film closes, Vasu and Sahitya announce their engagement.
