Story:

“Krack” is an Indian Telugu-language action movie from 2021, directed by Gopichand Malineni, who also co-wrote the script with Sai Madhav Burra providing the dialogues. The film stars Ravi Teja, Shruti Haasan, Samuthirakani, and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar. It was produced by B. Madhu under the Saraswathi Films Division banner and is based on real events in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

The story revolves around the clash between a police circle inspector and a gangster, drawing inspiration from the 2018 Kannada film “Tagaru” and bearing similarities to the Tamil movie “Sethupathi.”

The film’s production journey began with a formal ceremony on November 14, 2019, in Hyderabad, followed by principal photography starting on November 21, 2019, and concluding on December 7, 2020, with some delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The movie features music composed by Thaman S, cinematography by G. K. Vishnu, and editing by Naveen Nooli.

“Krack” hit theaters on January 9, 2021, receiving favorable reviews from critics and proving to be a major success, grossing ₹70.6 crore at the box office. At that time, it became Ravi Teja’s highest-grossing film until it was surpassed by “Dhamaka” in 2022.

The film was launched on November 14, 2019, with producer Allu Aravind as the chief guest. Principal photography began on November 21, 2019, featuring a Jatara scene with Ravi Teja. A. R. Murugadoss visited the set in early January 2020. Filming was interrupted due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Resuming in October 2020, they shot a song with Anketa Maharana and Teja, concluding in December 2020 in Goa.
