It features Gopi Sundar’s music, Pradeesh Varma’s cinematography, Marthand K. Venkatesh’s editing, and stars Akhil Akkineni and Pooja Hegde. The movie tells the love story of stand-up comedian Vibha and NRI Harsha.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, it was repeatedly postponed before being released on October 15, 2021. Critics gave the movie positive reviews upon its premiere, complimenting the story, music, and performances of the cast, especially Hegde. The movie brought in ₹51 crore globally and proved to be a commercial success.
A couple travels down the street. They suddenly come upon a flock of lambs. When the couple spots a man among the flock, they are taken aback. We learn that the man is named Harsha (Akhil Akkineni). He began telling his story when they questioned him about why he was there.
NRI Harsha wants to get married as soon as possible and resides in New York. After that, his family arranges a marriage for him that must be consummated in 20 days. Thrilled, Harsha purchases a home for himself and boards a plane to get married in India. He is supposed to meet twenty potential brides in India, but he ends up falling in love with the first one.
But his family is adamant about having more meetings to determine which one is the right fit for him. Harsha’s mother instructs him to withhold certain bride’s details since their horoscopes do not align in the meantime. Even after seeing that the envelope belongs to Vibha (Pooja Hegde), Harsha still goes to her father and returns the information. Then he discovers that Subbu (Murali Sharma), who he had a terrible encounter with earlier, is Vibha’s father. In addition, he misplaces Vibha’s photo, which forces Subbu to imprison his friend. He approaches Vibha at her stand-up comedy show and asks to take her picture in an attempt to locate the one. After that, Vibha poses a number of queries that challenge Harsha’s conception of marriage. He realises he wants to marry Vibha after spending time with her.
Unexpectedly, Harsha has another girl lined up for his marriage. He goes to Subbu to try to persuade him to get together with Vibha. In an unexpected turn of events, though, Subbu accuses Harsha of being impolite during each of their meetings. Vibha persuades Subbu to retake the case after realising that Harsha was impacted by her words. In search of clarification, Harsha visits Vibha and acknowledges that he likes her, but she tells him that she rejected him more than twenty days ago because of the difference in their perspectives on marriage. Harsha, furious, flees to New York and makes an effort to figure out what went wrong. He learns that his brother-in-law is toxic in their marriage and that he should never compromise after attending Ganesh’s 25th wedding anniversary.
After nine months, Harsha has completely changed and adopted a new way of thinking. He seduces Megha and tries to combine his and her businesses. Despite Harsha’s continued feelings for Vibha, Megha’s parents want her to wed him. He chooses to travel early to India in anticipation of his marriage in 20 days, allowing him to see Vibha once more. Upon his return to India, he learns that Vibha’s painful experience has made her decide against getting married. Thus, in secret, Harsha tries to persuade Vibha to return to her previous way of life and succeeds in making her fall in love with him.
But when Vibha finds out, Harsha’s parents force him to leave, and Subbu also informs Vibha that Harsha is getting married and should give up. Harsha is surprised to see Vibha performing a stand-up routine at his wedding. After sharing her life stories with Harsha, she departs with regret. Megha, who is aware of everything, permits Harsha and Vibha to get back together, and he succeeds in persuading everyone. Ultimately, Harsha and Vibha return to New York after getting married.
