Murali Mohan

Biography:

Atluri Rao’s film Jagame Maya marked Murali Mohan’s acting debut. With the release of Dasari Narayana Rao’s 1974 film Tirupati, he became well-known.

Over 350 feature films feature him as an actor. He has held a variety of jobs with both the Andhra Pradesh Film Development Corporation and the National Film Development Corporation (NFDC). Prior to the 2015 elections, he served as the Telugu Movie Artists Association’s Honorary President.

Murali Mohan and his brother Kishore founded Jayabheri Arts, a production firm for motion pictures, in 1980. Varala Abbay, which was directed by Raja Chandra, was his first movie as a producer. The film marked the 100th for Murali Mohan. The business created 25 movies, including the huge hit Athadu. Three Nandi Awards went to him.

Additionally, Murali Mohan has been politically involved with the Telugu Desam Party. He ran for the 15th Loksabha in 2009 as the TDP candidate from the Andhra Pradesh parliamentary district of Rajahmundry, where he ultimately fell short of defeating Indian National Congress rival Vundavalli Aruna Kumar by a mere 2,147 votes. He was elected to the 16th Loksabha in 2014 as a representative for Rajahmundry. He gained notoriety for making sexist remarks during his first tenure in the Indian Parliament, which drew criticism from a number of sources.

Murali Mohan also has a philanthropic organization to his name where he helps the less privileged. People who receive 85% on both the SSC and intermediate exams and who score below 10,000 on the EAMCET or other desired admission exams are eligible for free education under the Murali Mohan Charitable Trust.
