Keerthy Suresh is an Indian actress who predominantly works in the Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam film industries in that country. On October 17, 1992, she was born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. Born into a Hindu family of a half-Malayalam father Suresh Kumar, a producer and director of Malayalam films, and a half-Tamil mother Menaka, an actress. Revathy Suresh, her older sister, is married, a VFX expert and she formerly worked for Shahrukh Khan’s production company Red Chillies.
Given that her mother, Menaka Suresh, is a well-known actress in Malayalam cinema, She comes from a family with a significant cinematic history.
Keerthy Suresh made her acting debut as a child artist in the Malayalam film “Pilots” (2000). However, it was her lead role in the Malayalam film “Geethaanjali” (2013) that brought her recognition. Her performance in the film received positive reviews, and she won the Asianet Film Award for Best Female Debutant.
