Story:

Venky Atluri’s vibrant rom-com “Rang De” painted the screen in 2021, starring the charming duo of Nithiin and Keerthy Suresh. Devi Sri Prasad’s catchy tunes and P.C. Sreeram’s stunning visuals added life to the story. Critics embraced the film’s wit and humor, but sadly, the COVID-19 pandemic muted its box office celebration.

Arjun, a young man seeking attention from his family and neighbors, finds himself longing for companionship due to a lack of kids his age in the neighborhood. His wish for a girlfriend comes true when Anupama’s family, whom he initially envies, moves in.

Despite harboring jealousy, Anu develops genuine feelings for Arjun. Academic struggles, constant comparisons to Anu’s excellence, and the desire to escape this situation lead Arjun to plan a move to Dubai under the pretext of pursuing an MBA.

With the help of a friend’s connection, Arjun dishonestly secures an excellent GMAT score. However, his joy is short-lived when he discovers his application is on hold due to a one-point difference with two other applicants. In a surprising turn of events, Arjun learns that Anu is one of the better-scoring students, leading to frustration.

To derail Anu’s plans, he leaks her study abroad intentions to her mother, resulting in a heated confrontation that forces Anu into an unwanted marriage.

On the day of Anu’s wedding, she publicly kisses Arjun, and, succumbing to family pressure, Arjun reluctantly marries her. Their strained relationship takes a new turn when Anu reveals she overheard Arjun’s scheming, and their marriage was a plan to thwart her studies.

Forced to take Anu abroad, Arjun resorts to manipulation to secure the desired university seat. In Dubai, their relationship oscillates between love and hate, culminating in a surprising turn of events when Anu becomes pregnant.

Arjun, unprepared for parenthood, insists on an abortion, accusing Anu of trapping him. Anu, angered by the allegations, promises a divorce after completing her studies, with no expectations of his involvement in the pregnancy.

As their parents intervene to salvage the marriage, Arjun experiences a change of heart upon feeling the baby kick. Realizing Anu’s enduring love and his own growing affection, he decides to express his love, only to discover she has already signed divorce papers.

Apologizing for his past actions, Arjun confesses his newfound love, and the couple reunites. They live happily after the birth of their daughter, marking a heartwarming resolution to their tumultuous journey.
