Story:

As everyone knows, Keerthy Suresh is now working on her next movie, Raghu Thatha, which Suman Kumar is directing for the first time. The film’s producers have recently revealed that it will open in theaters on August 15 of this year, which happens to be Independence Day.

Keerthy posted a new movie poster on her X handle and said, “Raghu Thatha, Kayalvizhi’s endearing journey, is soon to be shown in theaters near you. Prepare yourself for an amusing, poignant, and inspiring experience like no other!”

One of the writers of the popular Prime Video series The Family Man was Suman Kumar. In addition to Keerthy, prominent roles in Raghu Thatha are played by MS Baaskar, Devadarshini, Ravindra Vijay, Anandsami, Jayakumar, Rajesh Balachandiran, and Rajeev Ravindranathan.

Ismath Banu, Aadhira Pandilakshmi, Janaki, Chu Khoy Sheng, Mukesh, KS Mippu, and Manoj Kumar Kalaivannan are among the other members of the supporting cast. A humorous and sarcastic look at a young woman’s effort to ‘defend the identity of her land and people’ is purported to be found in Raghu Thatha, starring Keerthy Suresh.

Yamini Yagnamurthy, who previously photographed Keerthy’s Saani Kaayidham (2022), did the cinematography for it. While TS Suresh is in charge of editing, Sean Roldan is writing the soundtrack for the movie. Raghu Thatha is being produced by Hombale Films’ Vijay Kiragandur, who is embarking on their debut Kollywood production.

Aadhira Pandilakshmi, Janaki, Chu Khoy Sheng, Mukesh, KS Mippu, Manoj Kumar Kalaivannan, and Ismath Banu are also part of the supporting cast.

According to reports, Raghu Thatha is a humorous and sarcastic look at the trip that a young woman named Kayalvizhi (Keerthy Suresh) took in order to “protect the identity of her land and people.”

Having also filmed Keerthy’s Saani Kaayidham (2022), Yamini Yagnamurthy provided the cinematography for it. TS Suresh is in charge of editing the movie, while Sean Roldan is writing the soundtrack. Raghu Thatha is being produced by Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale Films, which is their first Kollywood production.
