Plot
Set in the 1990s, Uppu Kappurambu takes place in the fictional Telugu village of Chitti Jaya Puram, which is facing a shortage of burial space in its graveyard. The responsibility of addressing this issue falls on Apoorva, the newly elected village head, and Chinna, the graveyard’s caretaker. As they search for a solution, a string of strange and comedic incidents unfolds, showcasing the eccentricities of the local villagers. In the end, it is the community’s shared spirit and togetherness that lead to a resolution of the crisis.
