PLOT
Pallavi, Zareena, and Divya are three independent working women who reside in Hyderabad together. Their car breaks down in the middle of the highway one night, and Viswa, Pallavi’s buddy, offers them a ride. Bunty and Viswa hurry Vamsi to the nearest hospital since he is bleeding from a severe head injury. At the same moment, the three women take a taxi back to their flat. They appear disoriented, and it is inferred that they are involved in the incident. They then attempt to move on from what occurred that night. Simultaneously, a drunk and jobless Satyadev arrives to a new community and meets these three girls. Vamsi makes threats as he seeks vengeance for the hurt Pallavi inflicted him. Zareena loses her job as a result of the threats. They are eventually discouraged from making a complaint, claiming that it would make their life more difficult. In truth, the local police are aware that the men are “well-connected” and have the support of Vamsi’s father, MP Korentla Rajendra.
Pallavi is kidnapped the next day by Vamsi’s buddies. Pallavi is intimidated, blackmailed, and groped in the moving car before being returned home, leaving her disturbed. A few days later, she is detained on the basis of a report filed by Vamsi, who labels the women as prostitutes and charges Vamsi with attempted murder. Zareena and Divya are at their lowest point when they come across Satyadev.Satyadev advises them to contact a lawyer for an urgent bail. He appears to be an alcoholic, so the females don’t believe him. Later, they learn that Satyadev was a reputable and respectable attorney who was suspended for 4 years for injuring another attorney during a court proceeding. At the same time, Satyadev’s wife Amritha passes away from pregnancy difficulties and fits after he had to leave her at home alone, forcing him to quit his job. He later decides to represent Pallavi in court after being attacked by Rajendra’s goons and declining to assist Zareena and Divya with the case.
Vamsi and Rajendra, who are afraid of Satyadev, encounter Advocate Nanda Gopal, who decides to take up the case. Nanda gives the following account of what happened in court in the courtroom: Due to their cab breaking down, Vamsi and his buddies assist Pallavi and her friends. Since the women claimed to be hungry, they invite them to a resort for supper and cocktails. Provoking the males, becoming intimate, and then demanding payment are all evidence that the women are prostitutes. When Vamsi refuses to pay, a furious Pallavi shatters a bottle over his head and runs away. The morally deficient behaviour of the ladies is the main emphasis of Nanda’s argument. The males allegedly tried to sexually abuse Pallavi and her friends. Pallavi struck Vamsi with the bottle in self-defense when he attempted to rape her. The focus of Satyadev’s argument is on the subject of permission and a woman’s ability to refuse. In the days that follow, a sequence of terrifying courtroom debates take place. Zareena is prodded by Nanda towards the end of the trial to claim that she stole the money from the men, upsetting the court. But Satyadev persists, and he enrages Vamsi, who then says the women “Got what they deserved” and admits the truth.
When women are labelled as prostitutes because they stay up late, leave the house, desire to be independent, drink, and other things, Satyadev criticises the outdated notions of society that do not apply to men. His client’s “NO” response serves as his final point. No simply means no; extra justification is not necessary. The following day, Siva attacks Satyadev and the women on the train, but Satyadev beats them off, and they return to the court. The women are then declared innocent, but Vamsi, Bunty, and Siva are accused and are awaiting sentencing, while Viswa is only given a warning. Satyadev makes the decision to return to his profession when the lawsuit is resolved in order to assist the regular people in solving their problems. Zareena gets a job back, Pallavi gets engaged, and Divya moves into her freshly built house.
