Indian actor and filmmaker Subramaniam Siva is involved in the Tamil cinema business.
Tamil Nadu is where Subramaniam Siva was born. He worked as filmmaker V. Z. Durai’s assistant before he became a director.
In 2003, Subramaniam Siva made his screen debut in the romantic comedy Thiruda Thirudi, starring Chaya Singh and Dhanush. Due to the movie’s success, he went on to recast it in Telugu as Donga Dongadi (2004), with a different cast.
After that, he produced Pori (2007), starring Jiiva, and then seized the chance to direct Ameer in Yogi (2009), his two-year-long acting debut.
Seedan (2011), his sixth film as director, was a remake of the 2002 Malayalam film Nandanam, starring Ananya and Unni Mukundan in the key roles, with Dhanush making a cameo. Later on, he wrote dialogue for Amma Kanakku (2016) and contributed to the post-production of Velaiilla Pattadhari (2014).
The 2021 film Vellai Yaanai, which starred Samuthirakani, Athmiya Rajan, and Yogi Babu, marked his return to filmmaking. The movie debuted on Sun TV live.
