Biography:

Renowned Tamil film producer SK Krishnakanth passed suddenly on Wednesday, March 22, at the age of 52, following a severe cardiac attack at his home in Chennai. Many people of the film community expressed their respect for him on social media after learning of the shocking news.

Indian Theatre Production, owned by Krishnakanth, was responsible for major films including Dhanush’s Thiruda Thirudi, Pudhukottaiyilirundhu Saravanan, Manmadhan by Silambarasan TR, King by Chiyaan Vikram, and the upcoming film Solli Adippen by Vivekh.
