TheatreA. V. Subba Rao produced and T. Rama Rao directed the 1991 Telugu-language drama film Talli Tandrulu, which translates to “Parents.” Nandamuri Balakrishna and Vijayashanti are the main actors, and Chakravarthy wrote the soundtrack. The movie was a hit when it came to the box office.
Plot
The film opens with an honorable-run timber firm owned by a joint family, its paterfamilias Veeramachineni Venkataramaiah. He is happy with his three sons and two daughters, as well as his perfect wife, Padmavati.
The younger Anand lives a carefree and carefree existence. He once gets into an argument with the stunning Kavitha, which starts fights. In addition, Sivaram, a poison who previously worked for Venkataramaiah, becomes his equivalency by misbehavior.
He never gives up on Venkataramaiah and always keeps up with him. Anand once catches Sivaram torturing and punishes him. So, the spiteful Chanti, the evil son of Sivaram, uses Anand and Kavitha’s argument to his advantage and accuses them of prostitution.
Anand then chooses to wed Kavitha in an attempt to put the past behind her, a decision that his family members contest. Consequently, Anand moves out of the house and marries Kavitha.
After that, Sivaram goes to Venkataramaiah to arrange Chanti’s marriage to his younger daughter Madhavi. Venkataramaiah despises Sivaram and rejects it. Sivaram then takes revenge by plunging Venkataramaiah into a mammoth debt, which his depot is put up for auction.
His surviving children reject him during that ordeal, and he passes away from a heart attack. Anand intervenes now and promises to keep their depot safe for his mother. He puts it on hold for the time being with Kavitha’s assistance.
By then, Padmavati has already taken her own life to halt the sale, so it’s too late. For the time being, Anand works hard, makes good money, pays off all of his debts, and restores his father’s reputation.
In addition, he sets up a lovely match for Madhavi, and Kavitha is expecting. His siblings Prakash, Ashok, and Kamala track it down and file a claim for their portion. Anand crushes Sivaram’s plan to squat the depot once he takes advantage of it.
As a result, after Venkataramaiah and Kavitha have recovered, he kidnaps them, tortures them, and betrays Prakash and Ashok. Finally, Anand puts an end to the villains, but Venkataramaiah dies.
He sells his kidneys and eyes before passing away to help Anand pay for Madhavi’s wedding. Simultaneously, Anand is fortunate to have a son.
