Meet Bros, an Indian musical duo originating from Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, is composed of brothers Manmeet Singh and Harmeet Singh. Formerly known as Meet Bros Anjjan alongside their long-time collaborator Anjjan Bhattacharya, the duo initially pursued acting before transitioning to composing and singing, spurred by the success of their debut song “Jogi Singh Barnala Singh.” Their journey began with compositions for films like Isi Life Mein and Do Dooni Chaar, but it was with Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum and OMG – Oh My God! that they gained recognition as music directors.
Some of Meet Bros’ most renowned and critically acclaimed tracks include “Baby Doll” from Ragini MMS 2 and “Chittiyaan Kalaiyaan” from Roy, both featuring the vocals of Kanika Kapoor. The latter earned them prestigious awards such as the Filmfare Award for Best Music Director, the Screen Award for Best Music Director, and the IIFA Award for Best Music Director.
Raised in Gwalior and educated at Scindia School, Gwalior Fort, the brothers pursued higher education in Mumbai. Harmeet completed his graduation from Sydenham College, Mumbai. Initially engaging in acting in TV serials and Bollywood, they shifted their focus to music after the success of “Jogi Singh Barnala Singh.” While Manmeet ventured into television production, Harmeet explored advertising and acted in Hindi soaps like Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki and Kkusum.
After parting ways with acting, Meet Bros became music directors in Bollywood. Their collaboration with Anjjan Bhattacharya led to the creation of several songs, including the popular “Baby Doll.” Following Anjjan’s departure in 2015, Meet Bros established their own recording studio, “Meet Bros Recording Studio.”
Their repertoire includes hits like “Pink Lips,” “Hangover,” “Party To Banti Hai,” and “Chittiyaan Kalaiyaan.” Apart from their studio work, they actively participate in concerts and have been honored with Filmfare Awards for their outstanding contributions to music.
