Story:

Akhil Sathyan is the writer and director of the 2025 Indian Malayalam-language horror comedy fantasy film Sarvam Maya, which translates to “Everything is a Delusion.”Nivin Pauly, Riya Shibu, Aju Varghese, Janardhanan, and Preity Mukhundhan are the main actors in this Firefly Films production. Sarvam Maya debuted in theatres across the globe on December 25, 2025.

Critics and viewers gave the movie largely favourable reviews, praising the cast’s performance (especially those of Nivin Pauly and Riya Shibu), the directing, soundtrack, photography, screenplay, narrative, and light-hearted subject. After a string of failed films, reviewers characterised Sarvam Maya as Nivin’s commercial comeback. Ajayya Kumar and Rajeev Menon are the producers of the movie through Firefly Productions.

Prabhendu Namboothiri is an atheist musician who comes from a devout Brahmin priest family in Kerala. He chooses to work with his cousin Roopesh as a priest’s assistant after being forced to return to his hometown of Palakkad when his visa to the United States was denied. He encounters the spirit of Delulu, a young girl in her late teens or early twenties who is unable to recall anything about her life before to her death, when an excorcism goes awry.

The film tells the tale of Delulu’s self-discovery and the events that led to her death, as well as Prabhendu’s development as a young musician. It does this by meticulously describing and illustrating how their lives intertwined and how a new, lovely friendship emerged.Delulu finally falls in love with Prabhendu, but Prabhendu rejects her and begins to avoid her. Delulu briefly recalls her life before to her passing.

Her real name was Maya Mathew Manjooran, and she lived with her mother, brother, and father.She went with her family to propose to the college senior she was in love with, but she killed in an accident and suffered brain death. Maya is saved after the past and vanishes from Prabhendu. Prabhendu meets Maya’s mother when he travels to Kuttikanam. Prabhendu is informed by Maya’s mother that he is Maya’s lover. Prabhendu says “Yes” in response. Prabhendu Stars senses Maya’s presence once more.
