Aju Varghese

Biography:

Aju Kurian Varghese, renowned as Aju Varghese, was born on 11 January 1985 and is an esteemed Indian actor and producer prominently featured in Malayalam cinema. His debut in 2010 with “Malarvadi Arts Club,” directed by his college classmate Vineeth Sreenivasan, marked the beginning of a prolific career.

Over the span of a decade, Aju has showcased his talent in more than 130 Malayalam films. Alongside actor Dhyan Sreenivasan and producer Visakh Subramaniam, he co-owns the production company Funtastic Films.

Born to Varghese P. K. and Celiene Susan in Thiruvalla, India, Aju Varghese has a younger sister, Anju. He tied the knot with Augustina on 24 February 2014, and they are blessed with twins, Juana (a girl) and Evan (a boy), born on 28 October 2014. Later, the couple welcomed a second set of twins, Jake and Luke, on 30th September 2016.

Aju’s educational journey includes attending Rajagiri High School, Kalamasserry, and later Bhavans Adarsha Vidhyalaya, Ernakulam. He pursued his Bachelor’s in Electronics and Communication Engineering from KCG College of Technology, Chennai.

Before venturing into the film industry, Aju worked in Human Resources at HSBC, Chennai. His entry into acting came about when Vineeth Sreenivasan, his college friend, invited him to play a lead role in “Malarvadi Arts Club” and subsequently in “Thattathin Marayathu.”

Since then, he has made notable contributions to Malayalam cinema, featuring in films like “Oru Vadakkan Selfie,” “Kili Poyi,” “Ohm Shanthi Oshaana,” “Vellimoonga,” “Su.. Su… Sudhi Vathmeekam,” “Oppam,” “Two Countries,” and “Love Action Drama,” among others.
