Ajayya Kumar

Biography:

Ajayya Kumar is a COO, writer, art curator, and management thinker. He founded Sarvamangala Arts Initiative, Sarvamangala Trust, and Sarvamangala Productions and serves as their head curator.

In order to shield children from domestic abuse, Ajayya was the first to implement a rescue code. Additionally, his short film Rescue Code was selected for the Canes Lions Festival. On January 26, 1970, Kumar was born in Cherpu, Thrissur, Kerala. He is the youngest of four children born to maths teacher Bharathy Menon and Hindi scholar A. M. N. Nair. His mother was a teacher at the C. N. N. B. H. S. school in Thrissur. His mother retired in 1993. He earned a degree in mathematics from high school. Additionally, he graduated from ESC Clermont Business School with a doctorate in management. Ajay began working as a management accountant for the massive technology company ABB in 1994.

ICWAI awarded him a fellowship, and IMA, USA, which he has been a member of since 1999, certified him as a management accountant. He also holds the title of “Master Financial Professional” from the American Academy of Financial Management. Ajayya joined Emircom, a GCC-based ICT integrator. Sarvam Maya, a Malayalam film, was produced in 2025 by Ajayya Kumar and Rajeev Menon under Firefly Productions.
