Biography:

Althaf Salim, an Indian filmmaker and actor, has primarily worked in the Malayalam film industry. His acting career began with the highly successful movie ‘Premam’ in 2007, directed by Alphonse Puthran, starring Nivin Pauly, Madonna Sebastian, Sai Pallavi, and Anupama Parameswaran. Following this, he appeared in another film titled ‘Sakhavu’ alongside Nivin Pauly in 2007. Additionally, besides his acting pursuits, Althaf is also a director. His directorial debut came with ‘Njandukalude Nattil Oridavela’ in 2017, which marked his third collaboration with Nivin Pauly. The film, released in 2017, garnered mixed reviews from both audiences and critics.
