The film begins in Mumbai, where mafia leader Ashok Deva is engaged in a relentless feud with his rival, Pawar. Deva has a loving family, including two sisters, Sirisha and Priya, his wife Gauthami, and his loyal associate Shiva. Tragically, Gauthami is killed by Pawar and his gang on her birthday, and her dying wish is for Deva to renounce violence and lead a peaceful life away from the mafia.
In respect of her wishes, Deva, along with his sisters and Shiva, relocates to the tranquil village of Gandhipuram in the East Godavari district. There, they attempt to start anew, but Pawar believes Deva is dead. The village is led by Chakrapani, who has two sons, Anand and Ramakrishna.
