He began his career as a camera assistant and worked on movies including Family Circus, Nuvvu Nenu, and Aithe, directed by Rasool Ellore and K.K. Senthil Kumar, respectively. Following his work as the cinematographer of S. S. Rajamouli’s Vikramarkudu (2006), which was directed by Chandra Sekhar Yeleti, he experienced more success. His first film as the director of photography was Anukokunda Oka Roju (2005).
