Plot
Pizza delivery boy Michael Karthikeyan resides with his fiancée, novelist-aspirant Anu. Michael fears everything paranormal even if he does not believe in the supernatural. He continues hearing from Anu that he will soon come to understand that there are supernatural entities. When Michael learns that Shanmugam’s daughter, his employer, has been taken over by a spirit, his initial feelings of confusion and terror are validated.
Anu gets pregnant in the interim, and they tie the knot. One day, while out delivering a pizza to a customer, Michael returns to the pizzeria covered in blood and in shock, mumbling Anu’s name all the while. Michael describes the incidents at the location and says that he was sent to deliver a pizza to a customer called Smitha in a bungalow when his supervisor challenges him.
In order to get money for the pizza, Smitha asks Michael to wait below while she walks upstairs. Without any delay, the electricity fails. Michael hears a loud noise coming from above as he waits downstairs. He discovers Smitha dead after going upstairs to look into it and discovers a pizza slice he had brought is gone. Michael rushes to the door in terror only to discover that it is locked from the outside.
Bobby, the husband of the deceased woman, then shows up and claims that his wife is having an affair. Michael calls Bobby on his cell phone and tells him what’s going on, which prompts Bobby to help Michael leave the house. Bobby abruptly vanishes from the front door and is discovered inside the home, where he was slain in the room next to his wife. Additionally, two pizza pieces are gone. Michael meets the child of the couple, named “Nithya,” which is the same as the name of the spirit that is said to be the boss’s daughter.
Michael makes every effort to leave the house. He is able to get through to Anu over the phone and get her to call the local police. Four individuals killed in that bungalow: Bobby, Smitha, their little daughter, and a girl named Anu, according to the two officers who arrive there. Michael becomes a suspect, and the police make an attempt to apprehend him. Michael is confused, doesn’t think they’re real, and tries to run away.
Then Michael witnesses the officers being killed after being dragged into the house. Terrified, Michael flees back to the restaurant. As Michael’s pals at the restaurant begin to realize they have never seen Anu, he becomes less and less persuaded that Anu is dead. They also observe that there is no proof in Michael’s house that he shared a residence with Anu. Michael keeps looking for Anu.
The actual account of what transpired is told as Michael pauses and contacts Anu while making a delivery. An inspection of Shanmugam’s residence was organized by the Income Tax Department. Around 20 million diamonds are buried in Shanmugam’s restaurant. He instructs Michael to bring the gems to his residence, hiding them in a candy box.
However, Michael discovers the hidden diamonds after a bicycle accident. Anu and Michael make the decision to take the diamonds. Thus, they fabricate a tale in which Michael “forgets” the pizza bag at the “haunted” cottage in a believable manner. Anu, meantime, left Bangalore for Kochi with the diamonds, and they intend to move overseas.
Following the conversation, Michael delivers a pizza to a home and runs into a number of situations that resemble the narrative he had told. He encounters a female inside who is exactly like the “Nithya” he told about. “Nithya” is staring at Michael with curiosity while he is imprisoned within the house. And then the lights go out.
