Indian singer and actress Remya Nambeesan mostly performs in Tamil and Malayalam movies.
In Chottanikkara, Cochin, Kerala, Subrahmaniam Unni and Jayasree welcomed Remya Nambeesan into the world. Her father was an active member of theater groups like “Jubilee” and “Harishree” and was also an actor. Her brother Rahul[2] has experience in both playback singing and music direction, having worked on the Malayalam films Philips and the Monkey Pen and Thattathin Marayathu. She studied in Ambadimala, the Mahatma Gandhi Public School, which is close to Chottanikkara. She received her Communicative English bachelor’s degree from St. Teresa’s College in Ernakulam.
In the ensuing years, Remya began her career in small supporting parts in movies such as Gramophone (2003) and Sathyan Anthikad’s satirical picture Narendran Makan Jayakanthan Vaka (2001).
In the 2006 movie Aanachandam, she portrayed a fearless dance instructor in her first leading role.
She made a brief cameo in the films Ivan Megharoopan (2012) and Bachelor Party (2012). She also signed Husbands in Goa (2012), a comedy film directed by Saji Surendran. with Yathrayil Oru (2013).
She was a host before acting.[5] she has sung for devotional albums on Chottanikarai Bhagavathi. She has sung in few Malayalam films.
