Story:

“Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitam” is indeed a Telugu romantic action comedy film released in 2014. Directed by A. S. Ravi Kumar Chowdary, the film marked the debut of actor Sai Dharam Tej as a lead. The movie was jointly produced by Bunny Vasu and Harishith Reddy under the banners of Geetha Arts and Sri Venkateswara Creations. The main cast includes Sai Dharam Tej, Regina Cassandra, and Jagapathi Babu, with music composed by Anoop Rubens.

The film’s title, “Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitam,” translates to “Girl, Life Without You.” The title was inspired by a song from the film “Gabbar Singh.” Sai Dharam Tej’s debut film was initially “Rey,” which was produced and directed by YVS Chowdary under his Bommarillu Films banner. The filming for “Rey” began on October 17, 2010, at Ramanaidu Studios in Hyderabad and concluded on August 6, 2013. However, “Rey” faced delays due to financial issues and was eventually released on March 27, 2015.

Despite mixed reviews from critics, “Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitam” performed well at the box office and marked a successful debut for Sai Dharam Tej as a lead actor. Additionally, Sai Dharam Tej received the SIIMA Award for Best Male Debut (Telugu) at the 4th SIIMA (South Indian International Movie Awards) and the Best Debut Actor Award at the 13th Santosham Film Awards.

Plot

Since Shailu is Prabhakar’s illegitimate daughter, Srinu, an engineering student, learns that his fiancée is in danger from Prabhakar, a candidate for chief minister. To kill Shailu, Prabhakar employs Maisamma, a contract killer; however, Srinu plays a game of cat and mouse and eventually reveals Prabhakar’s wrongdoings through a journalist called Shafi. Following this, Shailu and Srinu tie the knot, and Maisamma leaves the underworld to work as an auto driver.
