Shafi is an acclaimed Indian actor who has made a mark in Telugu cinema, Tamil cinema, and Hindi cinema. He received his training at the prestigious National School of Drama. Shafi gained recognition in the Telugu film industry with his debut film, Khadgam, directed by Krishna Vamsi, for which he won the Filmfare Award for Best Villain – Telugu in 2002.
