Donga

Story:

Donga is a 1985 action movie in Telugu that was produced by T. Trivikrama Rao under the Vijayalakshmi Art Pictures brand and directed by A. Kodandarami Reddy. With music by Chakravarthy, the film stars Chiranjeevi and Radha in supporting parts played by Rao Gopal Rao, Allu Ramalingaiah, and Gollapudi Maruti Rao. The movie was a big success when it was released on March 14, 1985. The name of the Tamil-dubbed version is Kolai Karan.
Plot
Thieves like Phani (Chiranjeevi) do it to support the underprivileged. He wants to exact revenge on Kodandaramayya (Rao Gopala Rao) for killing his father, even though he loves Kodandaramayya’s daughter Manju Latha (Radha).

In addition, he wishes for his sister Malathi (Rajyalakshmi) to wed Rajesh (Raja), Anjaneyulu’s son, but he requires ₹50,000 as dowry. Simultaneously, income tax officer Vishwanatham (Sridhar) desires that his sister Rekha wed Rajesh.

Phani gets his retribution and destroys Kodandaramayya’s gang with the aid of the police. Additionally, he makes enough money to set up Rajesh and his sister’s marriage.
