Tadinada Varaprasad, better known by his stage name Nutan Prasad, was an Indian actor who mostly performed in Telugu theater and film (12 December 1945 – 30 March 2011). He was an inhabitant of India’s Andhra Pradesh state, Kaikaluru. He began appearing in films at the beginning of the 1970s and has won four state Nandi Awards. He passed away at the age of 65 after a protracted illness.
Over the course of a career spanning more than three decades, he appeared in roughly a hundred films in a variety of characters, including that of a villain and a comedian.
The play Naa Votu in Guntur was where Nutan Prasad began his acting career. In 1973, he made his film debut in Andala Ramudu, which also starred Akkineni Nageshwara Rao. He continued performing in films like Needaleni Aadadi, and Muthyala Muggu—in which he co-starred as a villain with Rao Gopal Rao—gave him his first significant break as a promising actor.
He died after prolonged illness at the age of 65 years on 30 March 2011 in Hyderabad
