Sridhar is a versatile Indian artist who has made significant contributions to the entertainment industry. Not only is he an accomplished choreographer with a pan-Indian presence, but he has also ventured into acting and directing.
Sridhar’s journey as an actor began with his supporting role in K. Balachander’s “Poi” in 2006. However, his talents extend far beyond acting. He made a mark as a choreographer, particularly noted for his work on the iconic “Naaka Mukka” song in “Kadhalil Vizhunthen” (2008), where he added his signature dance steps to create a sensation. His skills as a choreographer continued to shine when he collaborated with his mentor Prabhu Deva on four songs in “Engeyum Kadhal” (2011), earning him critical acclaim. Sridhar also choreographed and appeared in the title song of the television series “Nadhaswaram.”
In 2015, Sridhar took a bold step by transitioning to a leading actor role in the action drama “Pokkiri Mannan,” directed by Raghav Madhesh. While the film faced minimal publicity and garnered negative reviews from critics, it marked his foray into the world of acting. Furthermore, in 2016, he expanded his horizons by taking on the role of director for the movie “Savadi.” Sridhar’s multifaceted career showcases his versatility and willingness to explore various facets of the entertainment industry.
