Ashok

Story:

Surender Reddy directed and wrote the action movie Ashok (2006), which was made by Maharishi Cinema and featured NTR Jr., Sameera Reddy, Prakash Raj, and Sonu Sood in the key roles. In this film on atonement, the main character, who was wrongly blamed for the murder of his grandmother, must make amends to his father while also fending off an organization that despises him and meeting a girl who empathizes with him and his struggles.

On July 14, 2006, the movie premiered in Andhra Pradesh. At the box office, it made an average amount of money. Over time, it rose to cult status. With Manna and Nipun Akter, it was adapted as Babar Kosom (2007) in Bengali.

Super 35 format was used to shoot the movie. With 228 prints, it was published.

Later, the movie was dubbed and released as Ashok and The Fighterman Ghayal in Tamil, Hindi, Hindustani, and Bhojpuri, respectively, in 2008. Zee Kannada broadcast the Kannada-dubbed version.

The movie made 25 crore in its first weekend of release.
