Biography:

Vadivukkarasi is an accomplished Indian actress who began her acting journey with the Tamil film “Sigappu Rojakkal” in 1978. With a prolific career spanning Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam cinema, she has starred in over 350 films and participated in around 40 television serials in the Tamil language.

Notably, her maternal uncle is the renowned film director A. P. Nagarajan, after whom she was named based on his film “Vadivukku Valai Kappu.” Vadivukkarasi’s professional life began as a primary school teacher, but due to her family’s financial challenges, she took on various roles. Her debut film was “Kanni Paruvathile.” Throughout her career, she has portrayed a wide range of characters, including lead, supporting, and antagonistic roles.

During the early 2000s, she transitioned to acting in television serials. It’s worth noting that Vadivukkarasi has extensive filmography, comprising 350 movies, alongside her appearances in more than 40 television serials. She is also the mother of a daughter named Shanmuga Padma Priya.
