Starring Yami Gautam Dhar and Priyamani, the film is produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Aditya Dhar, and Lokesh Dhar. Other cast members include Skand Thakur, Ashwini Kaul, Vaibhav Tatwawadi, Arun Govil, and Kiran Karmarkar. About two months prior to the general elections in India in 2024, the movie was released globally on February 23, 2024.
Rajeshwari Swaminathan, the Joint Secretary of the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), is questioned at the start of the second chapter regarding the security and stability of the Kashmir Valley. She meets with former Kashmiri Governor Jagmohan Patil to talk about the potential repeal of Article 370. She sends the NIA to Kashmir to look into all terror cases in the state and stabilize the situation, which has been worse after terrorist Burhan Wani was killed. Later, NIA agent Zooni Haskar, who was initially stationed in Kashmir but was demoted when her team neutralized Wani, serves as the guard for Salahuddin Jalal (played by Omar Abdullah) when he arrives in Delhi. Rajeshwari and Parveena Andrabi (Mehbooba Mufti) meet in the interim to talk about the Kashmir issue.
She criticizes the actions taken by the Central Government in Kashmir without the consent of the State. Soon after, Jalal shows up and begins to argue with Andrabi. On her way to meet with the prime minister, Jalal speaks to Zooni about her father, Kabir, a whistleblower who was implicated in the J&K Bank scam and who, much to Zooni’s annoyance, committed suicide and was discovered dead in a Kashmiri lake. Article 370 prevented the Indian government from looking into the scheme. In an attempt to persuade Zooni to return to Kashmir and attempt to repeal Article 370, Rajeshwari meets with her.
When she declines, Rajeshwari suggests that she give it some thought. Zooni accepts the offer after Rajeshwari informs her that Kashmir is now governed by the governor, provided that two additional team members are allowed.
In the third chapter, Zonni joins her team in Srinagar, which consists of Ashish Mattoo, a Financial Crime Consultant for the CBI, Gaurang Sengupta, an Assistant Enforcement Officer for the ED named Namita Chaturvedi, and her two requested members.
She talks about a stone-throwing incident that happened in Anatang when young people were given money to throw stones. The main suspect in the funding case was Shamsher Abdali. They choose to look into his dry fruit company to see if there are any leads, but they are unable to gather any proof. But according to Zooni, Abdali might be employing a different strategy in place of cash. Instead, they shoot Abdali and attack a dry fruit warehouse, where they find that the employees are employed by a contractor. They find out that code-names are used in phone calls after tapping his phone. All of the code-names used are names of arch-angels in Islam such as Azrael.
