Waltair Veerayya

Story:

Waltair Veerayya, also known as Veerayya from Waltair, is a 2023 Indian Telugu-language action movie that was made by Mythri Movie Makers and directed by Bobby Kolli. Along with Catherine Tresa, Ravi Teja, Shruti Haasan, and Chiranjeevi, the title role is played by Chiranjeevi in the movie. Principal photography for the movie began in December 2021 after it was announced in August 2021. Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, and Malaysia were used as the locations for the shoot. Devi Sri Prasad created the music, and Arthur A. Wilson shot the movie.

Waltair Veerayya was published on January 13, 2023, and it was well reviewed by critics. The movie was a financial success at the box office, ranking among the highest-grossing Telugu movies of 2023.

Waltair Veerayya, a renown Vizag fisherman and smuggler, needs money to pay for legal defense. When CI Seethapathi approaches him, he informs him about Solomon Caesar, a notorious drug kingpin who escaped from RAW’s custody after murdering numerous police officers, and he is then given more information. The person in charge of looking after Solomon, Seethapathi, is demoted. In return for payment, he requests that Veerayya extradite Solomon from Malaysia to India. The agreement is accepted, and Veerayya, together with his buddies and Seethapathi’s brother-in-law, departs for Malaysia. They decide to kidnap Solomon after checking into one of his hotels.

However, Veerayya misses the opportunity as he gets stunned by seeing Dr. Nithya and her daughter Vaishnavi, where Nithya angrily takes Vaishnavi away from Veerayya. Seethapathi’s brother-in-law gets impatient and prompts Seethapathi to follow Solomon on their own without Veerayya’s knowledge, only to get caught by Solomon. Veerayya arrives at the place and tricks Solomon into believing that they want to cut a drug deal with him, therefore saving the day. Later, Veerayya gets invited by Solomon to his private party where a group of masked assassins attempt to nab Solomon, but their plans are foiled by Veerayya, who later realizes that they are the hotel staff.
