Actor Pradeep Rawat, who was born on January 21, 1952, primarily performs in Telugu, Hindi, and Tamil films. Rawat, who is known for playing wicked parts, made his screen debut as Ashwatthama in B.R. Chopra’s Mahabharat.
He made an appearance in Yug as Marshal, a British policeman. He also had a number of parts in the Jai Mata Di television series. In Bollywood movies like Sarfarosh as Sultan, Lagaan as Deva, Ghajini (2005) as Ram and Lakshman, and its Hindi version Ghajini (2008) as the title character, he played prominent roles.
The movie Sye served as Rawat’s cinematic debut. His most notable success in Tamil movie was Ghajini, in which he played two roles. He made his film debut with Parodi in Kannada, China Town in Malayalam, Hero 420 in Bengali, and Crack Fighter in Bhojpuri.
He worked as a banker in U.C.O Bank, Wright Town, Jabalpur (M.P.) for some time before becoming an actor.
Pradeep started his acting career through the Hindi TV Drama Mahabharata, where he played Ashwathama, son of Dronacharya. Chandrakantha was another hit serial on DD National he was involved with.

Telugu debut: Sye (2004) an action sports drama film directed by Rajamouli with Nithiin, Genelia D’Souza, Shashank became Pradeep Rawat’s debut movie in Telugu industry.
Tamil Debut: Thotti Jaya(2005) a Tamil gangster film directed by Durai with Silambarasan, Gopika marked Pradeep Rawat’s debut in Tamil films.
