Captain Miller

Story:

Arun Matheswaran will soon release Captain Miller, a period action adventure movie in the Tamil language that will also be produced by Sendhil and Arjun Thyagarajan under the banner of Sathya Jyothi Films. Along with Priyanka Arul Mohan, Shiva Rajkumar, Sundeep Kishan, John Kokken, and Edward Sonnenblick, it stars Dhanush in the main role.

The 2018 script was written by Matheswaran, and Sathya Jyothi Films was supposed to make it. But nothing was finalized until 2019, when it really began to take shape. Its working title was D47 (Dhanush’s 47th movie with a leading part).

The film was announced in July 2022 and principal photography commenced that September, taking place in Chennai, Tirunelveli and Tenkasi. The music is composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar, cinematography handled by Siddhartha Nuni and editing done by Nagooran Ramachandran.

Captain Miller is scheduled to be released in theatres worldwide on 15 December 2023.
