Biography:

S. S. Karthikeya, a multifaceted individual, serves as an assistant director, singer, publicity designer, and entrepreneur. His professional journey commenced as a production executive for the acclaimed Indian epic film ‘Baahubali,’ alongside his father, SS.Rajamouli. Born into a Telugu Brahmin family on November 22, 1991, SS.Karthikeya has been deeply involved in the film industry, assisting his father SS.Rajamouli and his paternal uncle SS.Kanchi, a prominent actor and writer in Telugu cinema. His mother, Rama Rajamouli, is a renowned Indian costume designer who remarried SS.Rajamouli after her divorce from her first husband.

Raised alongside his younger sister SS.Mayookha, whom his parents adopted, SS.Karthikeya holds his father, Rajamouli, as his ultimate role model. Inspired by his childhood dream of becoming a cinematographer, SS.Karthikeya embarked on his journey by acquiring lessons in cinematography and serving as an assistant to esteemed cinematographers. At the age of 16, he delved into the realm of assistant directing, showcasing his talents in various films such as ‘Manam,’ ‘Dikullu chud aku Ramaya Ramayana,’ ‘Oohall just gu salade,’ ‘Oka Laila kolam,’ ‘Eika like,’ and ‘Bahubali.’ Notably, he recently contributed to Akhil’s debut film “The Power of Juan” and directed a short movie titled ‘Compassion.’ Additionally, SS.Karthikeya is recognized for his adeptness in crafting videos and trailers for films.

In the upcoming movie ‘Show Time,’ directed by his paternal uncle SS.Kanchi, SS.Karthikeya showcases his vocal prowess as a singer. Fondly referred to as ‘Karth’ by his family, this industrious individual has achieved remarkable success by the age of 25. Renowned for his meticulous planning skills, SS.Karthikeya has earned the moniker ‘Boogie Woogie.’ He actively contributes to his father’s film projects as an assistant director and publicity designer, emphasizing his father’s strict work ethic on set. In 2014, he established his own company, ‘Showing Business,’ specializing in producing theatrical trailers, teasers, and promotional content for upcoming films. The company is also recognized for capturing behind-the-scenes footage of movie productions.
