Plot
A police vehicle is destroyed and a police motorcycle is knocked down by a truck that is traveling down the highway. With a gun to his head, the DCP stops the truck after being notified by a police officer. He makes the driver open the rear door by force. When the driver unlocks the door, the lorry contains ₹300 crores. When the driver suggests splitting the money, Tamizhselvan strikes him. The following day, Tamizhselvan informs the media that the driver was taken into custody and that ₹ 50 crores had been found and given to the government.
Arjun Ramakrishnan travels to Chennai in an attempt to win over Divya, a psychology student he has a thing for. Assisted by a local inept don named Deva, he manages to gain her affection. Tamizhselvan, an honorable and true DCP in Chennai, is Divya’s elder brother. He finds Arjun and his sister’s relationship acceptable, and soon their wedding is scheduled. Tamizhselvan was abducted one day by thugs as payback for foiling a black money scheme six months prior.
After saving Tamizhselvan and bringing him home, Arjun claims to be a CBI agent who found ₹250 crores hidden as black money in Tamizhselvan’s residence. They took ₹300 crores from a lorry during the black money raid, but Thamizhselvan made it known in public that they had only taken ₹50 crores. Because of Tamizhselvan’s well-known status, Arjun takes all the money but does not really arrest him; instead, he tells him to surrender in person.
After being freed from custody, the driver visits Tamizhselvan’s residence. But Tamizhselvan quickly learns from the driver that Arjun is actually a recently released prisoner rather than a CBI agent. With the goal of recovering the money, he goes for Arjun. He opens fire on Arjun’s SUV during the pursuit, causing Arjun to lose control, collide with something, and become unconscious. In a hospital, Arjun awakens with no memories. Tamizhselvan imprisons Arjun in a home where Dr. Boothri, a psychiatrist, is tasked with helping Arjun regain his memory in order for him to divulge the location of the money’s hiding place. Nobody knew that Arjun had retained his memory.
He is merely acting in order to fulfill his goal of obtaining black money. He steals the black money of a Union Minister at night and, with the assistance of a hawala merchant, converts it to white. But Tamizhselvan and the Union Minister quickly found out that Arjun continued to steal more illegal money and had not lost his memory. When Tamizhselvan and the Union Minister confront Arjun, he confesses why he stole the black money.
