Story:

Love Action Drama, a romantic comedy film in the Malayalam language, was released in 2019 and marked the directorial debut of Dhyan Sreenivasan. Produced by Visakh Subramaniam and Aju Varghese, the movie features Nivin Pauly and Nayanthara in the lead roles, with music composed by Shaan Rahman.

The film premiered in Indian theaters on September 5, 2019, followed by an international release on September 13, 2019. The story revolves around Dinesh, a wealthy and confident bachelor, who endeavors to win the heart of Shobha with the assistance of his best friend Sagar, aspiring to marry her someday.

The narrative unfolds through a series of flashbacks, starting with Dinesh reminiscing about his initial encounter with Shobha and the development of their relationship. Hailing from an affluent background, Dinesh refrains from work, dedicating his time to partying and drinking with friends. Upset over his cousin Swathi’s impending marriage, Dinesh attempts to disrupt the wedding due to past complications in their childhood relationship.

As Dinesh relocates to Chennai with his friend and cousin Sagar to pursue Shobha, the story delves into their interactions and challenges. Despite initial success, conflicts arise during a birthday party, revealing Dinesh’s true intentions. Shobha discovers Dinesh’s lack of ambition and commitment, leading to a temporary separation. Dinesh’s subsequent efforts to redeem himself involve winning over Shobha’s friends and ultimately persuading Shobha to reconsider their relationship.

The narrative takes a turn as Dinesh becomes possessive, leading to suspicions about Shobha’s activities. A revelation by a stranger, showcasing manipulated photographs, prompts Dinesh to call off the wedding. Shobha’s father disapproves of Dinesh due to his drinking habits, but the situation intensifies when Dinesh uncovers a malicious plot against their relationship.

Amidst chaos and misunderstandings, Dinesh, after a tumultuous series of events, seeks forgiveness and reconciliation with Shobha. The storyline concludes with Dinesh, having overcome past challenges, enjoying an alcoholic drink and cigarette with Sagar before entering the marriage hall to wed Shobha in the present moment.
