Baahubali is one film that the whole country has fell in love head over heels. The question, Why Kattappa killed Baahubali? became the biggest unanswered question of interest and many memes were created for the kind of scenes and Visual affects brilliance. The producers went ahead with releasing the movie Worldwide in different languages and the film is now being the official entry for Indian Panorama.The film put Indian cinema on global map and brought in many giants to look at the Telugu market and on lookers from other industries to make even better and bigger films without many budget limitations. Even Baahubali ventured into different branches like comics, anime and books with the participation of Industry bigwigs. The film is also the first one to use Virtual Reality in promotion material.
While all these great firsts are happening, many were thinking how the producers Prasad Devineni and Shobu Yarlagadda are funding the movie and do they have stashed up black money? The IT officers also had the doubt and raided their offices and homes. We are not sure about how much they found and what more happened as there are many unconfirmed details coming our way. We were more concerned about if the shooting of the film that was already in progress came to a hault? How are the post production works going?
Vijayendra Prasad, the story writer of the films and father of the director SS Rajamouli, explained us that there is no issue to stop the filming and it is going on smoothly. He also confirmed that all the payments for Baahubali were done by cheques and there is no problem with the post production works as well. The shoot will be completed by December end and a teaser is set to release in January. He further commented that there is no pressure about overwhelming expectations and he added as a matter of fact, that Baahubali is all one film and not a sequel to the original.
He finished saying, that he visits sets regularly to know if any changes are mandated by the situation and to incorporate them in the right way. The movie will release as planned 28th April 2017. Well many fans of Baahubali can breathe light as the filming and the film are not effected by the IT raids on producers.
