Ajith Kumar and his wife Shalini celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary on April 24th 2025. Known for being simple and private the couple kept their silver jubilee celebration low-key.
Shalini shared a sweet video on Insta where they are seen in a cozy room cutting a chocolate cake and feeding each other.
When Ajith asked Shalini, ‘Is it nice?’ after offering her a bite fans were touched by the warmth in their bond. The video quickly went viral and people praised their grounded nature.
Their love story began in 1999 on the sets of Amarkalam. Ajith was drawn to Shalini instantly. During filming he accidentally injured her wrist and took care of her which sparked their romance.
They got married in 2000 and have two children. Ajith continues to shine both in films and racing with recent success at the box office and on the international racing circuit.
