The latest film from the Malayalam film industry is Alappuzha Gymkhana. Starring Naslen, who earned a good reputation in Telugu with Premalu, the film is directed by Khalid Rahman. Released in Malayalam on April 10th, it received a fantastic response. The Telugu dubbed version has been released today on 25th April. Let’s see how well this film captivates our audience!

Alappuzha Gymkhana Review

Alappuzha Gymkhana Movie Story: Some young men, who failed in intermediate exams, decide to learn boxing to secure a college seat under the sports quota and aim to play at the state level.

Unexpectedly, these young men make it to the state-level game, but what challenges did they face there? How did they overcome them? What lesson did they learn through the district-level games? These are the key themes of Alappuzha Gymkhana.

Performances: In Alappuzha Gymkhana, character roles are as impactful as the hero’s, with Naslen, Sandeep, Ganapathi, Franco, Habish, and Lukman all receiving strong character development.

Franco’s character arc stands out as a major highlight. Anagha Ravi shines as a lady boxer with excellent screen presence, while Lukman’s portrayal as a boxing coach adds depth to the film.

Naslen’s comedic timing also stands out, adding a lighthearted touch. The film’s biggest strength is how each character resonates with the youth, making the story relatable and connecting well with the audience.

Technical Aspects: Vishnu Vijay’s music elevates the comedy and emotion, especially in the climax fight scene. Jimshi Khalid’s cinematography stands out, particularly in the boxing sequences, delivering impressive results with a limited budget. Director Khalid Rahman effectively engages the youth audience with relatable scenes, including a twist where most of the hero’s gang loses.

The film’s humor is well-executed without logical inconsistencies. The heroine’s character connects well with Gen Z. Overall, Khalid Rahman shines as both director and writer, entertaining the audience. The Telugu dubbing version also stands out, with fun moments from trending memes and dialogues.

Analysis: Alappuzha Gymkhana fills the gap for a fun, no-brainer movie, which has become rare these days. Despite having logical flaws, the film keeps the audience entertained and makes the scenes enjoyable without any discomfort.

Verdict: Alappuzha Gymkhana is a refreshing, fun-filled movie that delivers a light-hearted experience. With its engaging characters, enjoyable boxing sequences, and relatable storytelling, it entertains despite some logical flaws. A perfect pick for those looking for a time-pass, feel-good film.

Bottom Line: Entertaining, fun, light-hearted experience.
