Ustaad Bhagat Singh is a romantic action entertainer film directed by Harish Shankar and produced under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers. Pawan Kalyan plays the protagonist in the film, and Devi Sri Prasad composed the music. The film starring Ustaad Bhagat Singh was once titled Bhavadeeyudu Bhagat Singh. The film is a remake of the Tamil film Vinodhaya Sitham, which was also helmed by Samuthirakani.
The film begins with a young Bhagat Singh witnessing the 1919 Jallianwala Bagh massacre, which has a tremendous impact on him. As he ages, he loses faith in the British Raj and resolves to join the revolutionary cause. As part of their sabotage activities against British authority, Bhagat Singh and his fellow revolutionaries Sukhdev and Rajguru destroyed the Central Legislative Assembly in Delhi in 1929. Nonetheless, their efforts resulted in their detention and trial. Despite receiving death sentences, Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, and Rajguru continue to fight for India’s independence. Millions of Indians were inspired to fight in the struggle for independence as a result of their sacrifice, and their legacy lives on today.
