Story:

Nick Santora created the American action-crime television series Reacher for Amazon Prime Video. Alan Ritchson plays the eponymous character, a self-described hobo and former U.S. Army military police officer with incredible strength, intelligence, and skills, and is based on Lee Child’s Jack Reacher book series. Reacher encounters and engages in combat with deadly villains while traveling.

Reacher’s first season debuted on February 4, 2022, and was based on Child’s 1997 debut novel, Killing Floor. Based on Bad Luck and Trouble (2007), the second season ran from December 15, 2023, to January 19, 2024. On February 20, 2025, the third season, which was based on the 2003 book Persuader, debuted. The show received a fourth season renewal in October 2024, just before the third season premiered.

Jack Reacher is a former military police major in the U.S. Army who likes to live as a nomad, traveling from town to town across the United States. He has a wealth of AWOL investigative and combat expertise.

Reacher gets arrested for murder in the first season while traveling to the little Georgian hamlet of Margrave. Upon his release, he joins forces with two law-abiding police officers, Oscar Finlay and Roscoe Conklin, to go into a local conspiracy including dishonest politicians, crooked law enforcement, and a wealthy business magnate and his son who are operating a hazardous counterfeiting operation. In addition, he searches for the person who killed his brother.

After one of their own is killed inexplicably in the second season, Neagley, a former member of his now-defunct MP Special Investigations squad from New York City, gets in touch with Reacher. He gathers his former group to track down the killers and get revenge for the death of their companion. The team’s investigation reveals that a hazardous arms dealer is plotting with a technology corporation that has a crooked security division.

As Reacher tries to save a DEA informant in the third season, he dives into the murky depths of a rug-importing company that serves as a front for a massive illegal arms trafficking operation. There, he faces his former adversary Xavier Quinn and enters a world of violence and secrets.
