American film executive and producer Paula Kauffman Wagner was born Paula Sue Kauffman. Her most recent credits are the Broadway, West End, and US Tour versions of Pretty Woman: The Musical, as well as the movie Marshall, which starred Chadwick Boseman, Kate Hudson, Sterling K. Brown, and Josh Gad.

Paula Sue Kauffman was born Wagner in Youngstown, Ohio. Her father, Edmund Jamison “Ned” Kauffman, Jr., was a businessman, and her mother, Sue Anna (née Shofstall), was an Oklahoma news magazine editor. Wagner was a regular performer at the local playhouse in Youngstown. She presently serves on the board of trustees at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she earned her BFA.
