American musician and actor Maxwell Jenkins was born on May 3, 2005. He is well-known for his parts in A Family Man, Sense8, Dear Edward, Lost in Space, and Arcadian. He portrayed Joseph Bell in the 2020 film The True Story of Joe Bell, which was directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green and starred Mark Wahlberg. He was chosen to play a young Jack Reacher in the Amazon Prime series in 2021.
Jenkins is the son of theater and movie actress Julie Greenberg and former Ringling clown Jeff Jenkins. They co-founded and serve as directors of the Midnight Circus in Chicago, whose earnings support general park renovations in the city where the show is held. At the age of three, Jenkins started performing with the circus. He has since done acrobatics, tightwire walking, juggling, mandolin playing, rola-bola, and tightwire walking.
Jenkins received his education in the Roscoe Village neighborhood of North Chicago, Illinois, at Lane Tech College Prep High School, an elite magnet high school . The University of California, Los Angeles is where Jenkins is currently enrolled. He intends to minor in film and media studies and major in global studies.
