Bruce McGill

Biography:

Actor Bruce Travis McGill was born in the United States on July 11, 1950. He collaborated with filmmaker Michael Mann on the movies Collateral (2004), Ali (2001), and The Insider (1999). Other noteworthy film roles for McGill include Lt. Brooks in Ride Along and its sequel Ride Along 2, Sheriff Dean Farley in My Cousin Vinny, and Daniel Simpson “D-Day” Day in John Landis’s Animal House.

Among Bruce McGill’s television appearances are Det. Vince Korsak on Rizzoli & Isles (2010–2016) and Jack Dalton on MacGyver (1985–1992). He also voiced Lloyd Waterman, the proprietor of Waterman Cable, on The Cleveland Show (2009–2013) and played an older Captain Braxton in one Star Trek: Voyager (1999) episode. Billy Crystal’s made-for-television movie 61* (2001) featured him as Ralph Houk. He appeared on Netflix’s NASCAR comedy series The Crew on a regular basis in 2021.
