Biography:

B. Ajaneesh Loknath, born on November 20, 1985, is an Indian composer primarily engaged in Kannada cinema. In 2015, he was honored with the Karnataka State Film Award for Best Music Director for his exceptional contributions to the film Ulidavaru Kandanthe. Renowned for his collaborations with Rakshit Shetty, Rishab Shetty, and Anup Bhandari, Ajaneesh Loknath has left a lasting impact on the industry.

His musical compositions extend to films like Ulidavaru Kandanthe, Kirik Party, Avane Srimannarayana, and the background score for Rangitaranga. Noteworthy is his versatility as he has not only composed but also lent his voice for Ulidavaru Kandanthe, Ishtakamya, Kirik Party, and other projects, including those featuring Ramesh Aravind, Dr. Shivrajkumar, Golden Star Ganesh, Bharathiraja, Nivin Pauly, Udhayanidhi Stalin, Duniya Vijay, and many more.

Ajaneesh Loknath’s excellence in music was recognized at the Radio Mirchi Music Awards South 2015, where his work on Ulidavaru Kandanthe secured nominations in eight categories. Furthermore, his background score for the film Rangitaranga achieved notable acclaim, even reaching the shortlist for an Oscar nomination, although it ultimately didn’t make the final cut. With a rich portfolio spanning over 25 films in various languages, his next project, the pan-Indian release Mangalavaaram, is scheduled to hit screens on November 17, 2023.
