Ritu’s early life was marked by her passion for acting, and she pursued her dream by joining the acting course at Anupam Kher’s Actor Prepares institute in Mumbai.

Ritu Varma’s breakthrough came with the critically acclaimed Telugu film “Pelli Choopulu” in 2016, directed by Tharun Bhascker. Her portrayal of the independent and ambitious Chitra earned her immense praise and even a National Film Award for Best Feature Film.
