Sijoy Varghese

Biography:

Sijoy Varghese, born on March 6, 1971, is an Indian actor and advertising filmmaker with two decades of experience in the advertising and film industries. He has played roles in Malayalam films such as Bangalore Days, Avatharam, James & Alice, Aadhi, and Ittymaani: Made in China.

Born in Edappally, Kochi, Sijoy Varghese is the son of the late C. Varghese Kelamparambil, a retired headmaster, and the late Leelamma Varghese, a teacher. He completed his education at Sacred Heart College, Thevara, before embarking on his career in the film and advertising sectors. He tied the knot with Tessy Raphel in 1999, and the couple has been blessed with five children named Varkey, Maria, Anna, Anthony, and Zarah.

Sijoy’s journey began as a young assistant director, and he had the privilege of working with renowned advertising film production companies in India. In 2005, he established his own production company called “TVC Factory,” which has since grown to become one of the most trusted production houses in both India and the UAE. In addition to his work in the advertising industry, Sijoy Varghese is also known for his supporting roles in Malayalam movies like Bangalore Days, Avatharam, James & Alice, Aadhi, and Itty Maani Made In China. Furthermore, he currently serves as the General Secretary of the Kerala Chapter of the Indian Adfilm Makers (IAM).
