Sameer C. Thahir is a versatile Indian filmmaker known for his work in Malayalam cinema. Born on November 7, 1976, Thahir graduated from Maharajas College, Ernakulam. He kickstarted his career by assisting acclaimed cinematographers Amal Neerad and Rajeev Ravi.
Thahir made his mark as an independent cinematographer with his debut in the 2007 film “Big B,” directed by Amal Neerad. He later ventured into directing and writing with “Chaappa Kurishu” in 2011.
Known for his adept camera work, Thahir has contributed to several notable films, including “Nidra” and “Diamond Necklace” in 2012, and “Bangalore Days” in 2014. He also directed segments in anthology films like “5 Sundarikal.”
