Story:

Sultan is a 1999 action movie in Telugu that was directed by Sarath and produced by MRV Prasad. With music by Koti, the film features an ensemble cast that includes Nandamuri Balakrishna, Krishna, Krishnam Raju, Roja, Rachana, and Deepti Bhatnagar. The movie came out on May 27, 1999. The movie did well at the box office.

The films open with the Indian CBCID department assigning a determined officer named Ashok to capture the legendary terrorist Sultan, a hard-core fan who always goes undercover by concealing his true identity. An intelligence report claims Sultan will target a Minister. Ashok therefore devises a trap to catch him. Sultan now descends in the minister’s garb and kills him. Ashok pursues him, and during the struggle, he seizes the Sultan’s mask. But Ashok manages to identify his real face. The following day, Prithvi Raj, a forest officer, who adores and knits a girl named Renuka, joins. While Ashok is occupied tracking Sultan, he notices Prithvi and Renuka together.

Abruptly, he seizes him and places him under covert observation. Renuka conducts a violent agitation as a result, shaking the nation. As a result, the Government gives CBI officer Mustafa permission to pursue the case. Mustafa has a harsh shock the day he was assigned to the assignment when Sultan sets off a bomb, from which he escapes. In a short while, Mustafa flies down and firmly tells Ashok that Prithvi and Sultan are the two, which he rejects whenever a disagreement occurs. Eventually, Ashok and Mustafa discover that Sultan and Prithvi are identical twins who broke up as children. They now devise a plot to use Prithvi to capture Sultan. Prithvi initially expresses his disapproval, but he eventually gives in after learning of the prominence of his nation.

As soon as their quest begins, Prithvi tracks down Sultan’s lover Vandana. He makes it to Sultan’s home, where he is joined by his wife Revathi and mother. Sultan quickly discovers that something is up, so he stages a counterattack in which Mustafa falls while defending Prithvi. Sultan captures Renuka on his island in the interim. But Ashok and Prithvi achieve a breakthrough and take action as a result. During that moment, Ashok informs Sultan that his men have betrayed him and are destroying the entire nation. Finally, Sultan, together with Ashok and Pruthvi, puts an end to the violent operations after reflecting deeply. The Sultan gives his life in the last moments of the film in order to save the nation.
