arthAn original narrative and screenplay by Pawan Kalyan served as the foundation for the 2016 Indian Telugu action comedy film Sardaar Gabbar Singh, which was directed by K. S. Ravindra. A follow-up to Gabbar Singh (2012), it features Sharad Kelkar (making his Telugu cinema debut), Kajal Aggarwal, and Pawan Kalyan in their respective roles from the first movie. When the citizens of Rathanpur are threatened by Bhairav Singh (Kelkar), who rudely usurps their land, heroic policeman Gabbar Singh (Kalyan) saves them in the movie.

The most awaited Pawan Kalyan film is Sardaar Gabbar Singh. The movie shows how the inhabitants of Rattanpur are impacted by a brutal landowner named Bhairav Singh. The rest of the narrative focuses on Police Inspector Gabbar Singh (Pawan Kalyan) defending Rattanpur from land mafia lord Bhaivar Singh. The movie’s princess of Rattanpur is portrayed by the glamorous actress Kajal Aggarwal. Will Kajal Aggarwal be saved by Pawan Kalyan from marrying Bhairav Singh? Pawan Kalyan stated his intention to act in Gabbar Singh 2 after his film Atharintiki Daaredi was released in October 2013. However, due to Pawan Kalyan’s political debut, the film was postponed and is now scheduled to begin production in December 2014. The film will be a stand-alone picture within the Gabbar Singh franchise, rather than a prequel or sequel to the first Gabbar Singh. The film’s director is Sampath Nandi, while Devi Sri Prasad will compose the music. K. S. Ravindra (Bobby) of Power fame was later announced as the director. Anisha Ambrose was announced as the female lead, however she was later replaced with Kajal Agarwal. Gabbar Singh 2’s regular filming began on May 29, 2015, at Malshej Ghats in Maharashtra.
