Story:

Nene Naa, is a 2023 thriller-mystery Indian Telugu film directed by Caarthick Raju. Jayaprakash, Vennela Kishore, Regina Cassandra, and Akshara Gowda are the film’s stars.

The film’s plot is split between the 1920s and the present day, with Regina Cassandra playing an archaeologist in the former and Akshara Gowda portraying a girl from a landowner family in the latter.

Simultaneously shot in Tamil as Soorpanagai, the film has not yet been released. Its Tamil title comes from Soorpanagai, the sister of the king Ravana, who is the adversary in the epic Ramayana.The movie opened in theaters on August 25, 2023.

Plot
The film is set in two different eras: the 1920s and the present. As part of her work, an archaeologist in the present day finds an ancient artifact that sets off a series of enigmatic occurrences.

An ethereal power attacks a foreigner and draws them into the quicksand. When archaeologist protagonist Divya investigates the scene, she finds the skeleton of a 120-year-old woman.Not long later, according to the forensic reports, Divya’s facial traits are similar to those on the skull.

Not too long after the local DSP was brutally killed with a spear stuck in his body. According to the forensic analysis, a young woman’s fingerprints are consistently found on the spear. Heroine Divya reports the strange events to her brother, who is being attacked by a woman who looks like her sister.
